Moments from the field.

The Purple Walk — Raising awareness for Alzheimer's & Dementia

Hundreds of residents, families, caregivers, doctors and volunteers came together for The Purple Walk — a community march to break the silence around Alzheimer's and Dementia. Participants of every age and ability walked side by side, carrying messages of dignity: "Love & respect cures Alzheimer's," "Keep patience," "Togetherness is a cure for forgetfulness."

The morning opened with a traditional lamp-lighting and a flag-off, followed by the walk and a community gathering — a living demonstration that no family need face this journey alone.
